TBMI (Technological Business Model Innovation) is one of the core courses in the master’s degree program in technology-based business development at the Department of Business Development and Technology, Aarhus University. The students learn to build or improve an organisation’s business model based on technology. The highlight is a so-called TBMI Challenge, where students are sent out to companies throughout Central and Western Jutland to solve specific problems. Many of the challenges involve IoT and other digital technologies as a core element to the challenge.
