The Alliance for IoT and Edge Computing Innovation (AIOTI) is announcing the launch of its WEB3 Accelerator.
WEB3 is the Distribute Ledger Technology (DLT) enabled data and security infrastructure for the next generation internet and it will be the basis for a new user-centric and safer digital environment for generations to come.
The next generation internet using WEB3 will be more efficient and decentralized offering new perspectives for individuals, industry and climate action.
The optimized Cloud-Edge-IoT computing “continuum” will be made possible by DLT at the speed of a checksum.
How this next generation internet using WEB3 looks alike?
•People browsers and Cloud-Edge-IoT devices have wallets
•Wallets are secure connections to the distributed ledger
•DLT provides Data integrity and data ownership
•DLT brings trust and enables the computing Continuum
•DLT enables automated in browser micropayments and micro-business models
How does the WEB3 Accelerator work?
•WEB3 focus groups for Media, Authorities, Industry, Education and Convergence
•Task Force and events coordinated by AIOTI
•DLT Testbeds – use case demonstrators (catalogue of solutions)
•DLT Performance and Energy Efficiency (test results – report)
•DLT-IoT-AI Convergence (report)
•Regulatory Sandboxes
•Hackathon in Brussels (end of September)
•Users activation on the demonstrators
Hackathon winners and Accelerator results will be presented at the AIOTI Signature Event on 10 October 2023 and continue in 2024 with expected open calls during the Belgian EU presidency.
In collaboration with:  UNLOCK CEI, INATBA, Climate Chain Coalition and Essex University
